Our Story

Started by Pet Parents.
Built for Pet Parents.

John and Salome didn't plan to open a pet store. They just kept running into the same problem — with four dogs and a growing love for animals, finding reliable, quality pet products in Salunkhe Vihar was genuinely hard. Every trip meant crossing town. Every online order meant waiting and guessing.

In 2019, they partnered with a well-known pet franchise to open their first store, turning their passion into a business. What started as a neighbourhood shop quickly became a trusted name for pet parents across Salunkhe Vihar and Kondhwa. In 2024, they took the next step — rebranding as The Pet Padosi (your pet neighbour) to fully own their identity: a family-run, community-first store with no corporate strings.
